At Life In Many Colors Foundation, every program we create is rooted in one simple truth — people heal faster and stronger when they are supported, seen, and surrounded by community. As we grow, our programs will continue expanding to meet the needs of more individuals and families facing hardship.
Storytelling & Survivor Spotlight
Everyone has a story. Some stories carry scars. Some carry silence. This program gives voice to trauma survivors and individuals facing hardship by sharing their journeys through podcast, video, and documentary-style media.
These stories do more than inspire — they educate the public, challenge stigma, and remind others who are struggling that healing and resilience are possible. Every story shared through this program is a light for someone else still finding their way.
Community Outreach & Awareness
Awareness is the first step toward change. Through targeted outreach initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and community engagement efforts, we work to bring visibility to the real experiences of survivors and families navigating hardship.
We go into communities, build relationships, and create conversations that matter — because the more people understand, the more compassionate and supportive our communities become.
Events & Connection
Community is built in person. We host and take part in events designed to bring people together — for support, encouragement, education, and fundraising — creating safe, welcoming spaces where survivors and supporters can connect and strengthen one another.
Our annual Beers for Burns fundraiser is one of the ways we bring that mission to life. This past event raised enough for 10 young burn survivors to attend burn camp, where they found peer support from others who understand exactly what they’ve been through.
Every event we host is a reminder that no one has to walk this road alone.
Charitable Assistance
Leaving the hospital isn’t the end of a survivor’s journey — for many, it’s just the beginning of a new one. Our Charitable Assistance program meets burn and trauma survivors where they are once they’re home, with real, practical support.
That support can look like pressure garments and compression stockings to aid physical recovery, help connecting with legal resources, funding toward reconstructive surgery, or sponsoring a child’s spot at a burn camp or retreat where they can be around peers who understand.
We also believe survivors deserve to be heard. Through our growing platform, we give people a place to share their story in their own words and connect with a community that gets it.
We believe compassion without action is incomplete. This program is our commitment to putting resources where they’re needed most.
Youth & Family Support
Hardship does not only affect individuals — it ripples through entire families, including children. This program provides encouragement, resources, and community connection to families raising children through trauma, loss, or life-altering circumstances.
Through partnerships and outreach, we work to ensure that young people growing up in difficult seasons still have access to hope, stability, and the support they deserve.
Healing Through Expression
Recovery looks different for everyone. This program creates opportunities for survivors to process their experiences through creative expression — including writing, art, and personal storytelling. By giving people a healthy outlet to share what they have been through, we help turn pain into purpose and silence into strength.
Participants are encouraged to tell their story in their own way, on their own terms — because expression is one of the most powerful paths to healing.
