Burn and trauma recovery doesn’t happen in isolation, and neither does our work. Community Outreach & Awareness is how we bring survivors, families, healthcare partners, and neighbors into the same conversation.
What this program is
We engage communities through awareness campaigns, educational efforts, and partnerships with healthcare providers, burn-care specialists, and local organizations across Colorado. The goal is simple: make sure survivors are understood and supported, and that people know help exists.
Who it serves
Survivors and families who benefit from a more informed, welcoming community — and the community itself, which gains a clearer understanding of what burn and trauma survivors experience and how to help.
What we do
- Share accurate, compassionate information about burn and trauma recovery.
- Build relationships with treatment providers and community partners so survivors can be connected to care and support.
- Show up where our community gathers to reduce stigma and open doors.
