When someone is injured, the whole family feels it — especially the children. Youth & Family Support exists for the people walking alongside a survivor through recovery.
What this program is
We provide support for children and families navigating a loved one’s burn or trauma recovery. Recovery reshapes daily life, and young people in particular can feel confused, scared, or overlooked. This program helps families find footing and helps kids feel seen.
Who it serves
Children and family members of burn and trauma survivors, and survivors who are themselves parents or caregivers trying to hold their family together through a hard season.
What we offer
- Support and connection for children and families affected by a loved one’s injury.
- Guidance to family-friendly resources and services across Colorado.
- A compassionate point of contact for families who don’t know where to turn.
