Storytelling & Survivor Spotlight

Recovery from a burn or traumatic injury is rarely just physical. The harder, quieter work is being seen, understood, and reminded that you are not alone. Storytelling is where Life In Many Colors Foundation began, and it remains the heart of what we do.

What this program is

Through the Life In Many Colors Podcast and our Survivor Spotlight series, we share candid, first-person conversations with burn and trauma survivors about their recovery journeys. Each episode explores a real story of hardship and resilience — what actually happens after a life-altering injury, what recovery looks like day to day, and what helped. New episodes are released regularly on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Who it serves

Survivors who want their story heard, families looking to understand what a loved one is going through, and a wider public that rarely hears these experiences firsthand. Every story we share chips away at the stigma and isolation that so often follow a traumatic injury.

Why it matters

When survivors see someone who has walked a similar road, recovery feels less lonely and more possible. And when the public listens, communities become more compassionate and better informed.
